Junior Landscape Architect

One Leisure is seeking a well-rounded Junior Landscape Architect who embodies creativity, independence, and a drive for professional growth. As an integral part of our team, this position plays a pivotal role in designing Master Plans, Conceptual and Schematic Designs, as well as producing comprehensive Construction Document sets. If you're eager to contribute your unique perspective and skills to our collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working under the guidance of the Senior Landscape Architect/Director.
  • Preparation of design and construction documents.
  • Graphic presentation design production for clients.
  • General office duties.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of an accredited degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in landscape architecture or design firm settings.
  • Ability to work in Canada legally.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating innovative landscape designs.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative and a strong team player.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Excellent organizational skills and file management.
  • Strong 3D modelling abilities, particularly in SketchUp
  • Hand-rendering ability will be highly valued.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge in preparing comprehensive Construction Documents.
  • Knowledgeable in plant species selection and planting design, specializing in Mediterranean and Tropical species.
  • Familiarity with the hospitality industry is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel is considered an asset.
