Intermediate / Senior Landscape Architect

Victor Ford and Associates Inc is an award-winning, medium-sized landscape architecture firm, well known for their design and planning work for a wide range of public park, open space, multi-use trail, waterfront, and school site planning projects across the GTA and Ontario.

Our downtown Toronto office has an opening for a talented, organized and enthusiastic Intermediate or Senior Landscape Architect.  We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of four years of experience, primarily in private practice with an emphasis on public and institutional projects. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, is a team player, is highly-creative, and has experience from design development to the production of working drawings, specifications, and experience with construction contract administration. Strong drafting and graphic abilities are essential. Experience with proposal writing is a plus and good command of the English language will be necessary.

Qualifications

• BLA or MLA from an accredited university

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a landscape architectural consulting office

• Full membership under OALA or working towards full membership

• A valid driver’s license

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• *ISA certification considered an asset

This is a full-time contract position. Salary will be determined based on ability and relevant experience.
