Intermediate Landscape Architectural Designer/Technologist

Your Responsibilities
  • Preparation of design drawings from concept through to contract documents, tender and contract administration services
  • Collaborate with the Design team to assist in developing concept plans, design details, and project cost estimates
  • Preparing and modifying plans/designs, cost estimates and submissions to support projects through approvals
Skills, Knowledge and Technical Requirements
  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture or diploma from a recognized college or university
  • Minimum 2 years, and up to 4 years, of experience in landscape architectural practice, ideally in a consulting environment
  • Strong AutoCAD drafting skills, understanding the complexity of multidisciplinary drawings and working with external references is essential
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Proficiency in Revit, 3ds Max, SketchUp and MicroStation is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-grounded understanding of construction detailing and contract documents
  • Self-motivated team player with attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

Marten-Nikzad Landscape Architects Inc. (formerly known as Juhan Marten Landscape Architect) was established in 1992. The firm provides landscape architectural consulting services for numerous commercial, industrial, and multi-residential projects. Our office is conveniently located at 1387 Bayview Ave. with easy access to public transit. We have a specific need for an Intermediate landscape designer/Technologist with strong technical skills and construction knowledge and a minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience.
