Mission

We are seeking an ISA Certified Arborist / Landscape Designer to join our Infrastructure Group in Ontario. Our CIMA+’s Landscape Team is based in the Bowmanville office, our current hybrid work model opens this position to candidates within proximity of any of our offices.  You will have the opportunity to grow your career in a team-based environment, working collaboratively to deliver a wide range of projects including parks, streetscapes, trails, buildings and road reconstruction. Primary responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits to complete tree assessments
  • Report writing and drawing preparation
  • Working with the project team to prepare conceptual designs, presentations, design development and construction documents for a variety of projects
  • Assist with preparation of presentation materials
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and prepare materials for inclusion in permit application packages to secure approvals
  • Conduct site reviews during construction as required

Profile

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent
  • ISA Certified Arborist
  • OALA Full Membership with Seal and Certificate, or working towards licensure
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a consulting environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record and access to a personal vehicle
