OALA Holiday Parties

This December, the OALA enjoyed 3 holiday parties across the province in Toronto, Guelph and Ottawa. Below are summaries of the events with a few photos.

TORONTO:
The Toronto Holiday party organized by the OALA social committee on December 7, 2016 was held at the Duke of Devon in downtown Toronto. It was a great success; almost 40 members came together to celebrate the season, while also enjoying networking over a variety of delicious appetizers and refreshments. Special thanks to our sponsor Landscape Forms for their generous support in making this event possible!

GUELPH:
On Wednesday December 7th, Guelph area OALA members gathered at the E-Bar on Quebec street (Also known as the Bookshelf). Sponsored once again by Connons NVK in Waterdown we had a full house of 40+ people, doubling our turn out from the 2015 event at the Albion. Food included gourmet pizzas, kettle chips, a veggie tray and lots of desserts with left over veggies and desserts donated to the local shelter. There was lots of schmoozing, networking, and some great games of pool were played.
Thanks to everyone for your enthusiastic support of this seasonal event. Next year we will work to find a larger venue to accommodate all.
